Hailing from the wilds of Norfolk, Pippa has spent most of her life with a needle in hand. Surrounded by textiles form a young age, dressmaking was her chosen path. Having trained in pattern cutting and dressmaking, Pippa has created a full range of garments and accessories. This could include everything from comedy hats to beaded and feathered wedding dresses, it’s been a varied career.
Having taught both privately and for Norfolk adult education for the over 10 years she enjoys the variety of teaching each class. Classes have ranged from sharing the techniques of simple dressmaking for beginners to the more complex dressmaking and pattern cutting projects within City and Guilds courses. Sharing some of her thoughts through The Fabric Wrangler blog when the mood strikes.
Pippa enjoys watching as people blossom, gaining confidence in both themselves and their skills from putting that first zip in or making that French knot. She hopes to ease you through your chosen course or project one stitch at a time.
