This month we are offering a series of new sewing classes and workshops. Whether you are an absolute beginner, an improver wanting to move up to the next level, or have some skills and need a little help with your sewing project, we'll get you started and help you on your way to creating your own Autumn/Winter wardrobe!
Our 6 week Beginner's Dressmaking course starting 2 October is fully booked, but we have a new 6 week afternoon course starting November 13th, with the option to sign up for individual classes if you just want to focus on a particular technique.
We also have some new dates for the popular upholstered footstool, Cromer beginner's cushion, Bacton piped cushion and lampshade making classes, using the latest fabric designs from Anglian Furnishing Fabrics.

MERCHANT AND MILLS SEWING CLUB
Do you have a Merchant and Mills pattern and fabric sitting at home but are lacking the confidence to get started? These new, informal workshops, held 6-9pm on the first Thursday of each month, starting October 3rd, offer you the chance to get some help from Tim Gidney with your Merchant and Mills sewing project, share ideas and inspirations with others in our well-equipped studio space. Project kits, patterns and materials will also be available to purchase. Please note, this is not a formal taught class, but a chance to work on your own project with expert guidance and support from Tim. Limited places. £25 per session. Book online

EVE TROUSER COURSE
23, 30 OCT 6 NOV 1.30 - 4pm
The Eve Trouser is cropped, with a slightly tapered leg and optional turn ups. It’s an easy garment to make, fitting neatly at the waist and over the hips with a simple side zip and two back pockets. Choose to make pleats or darts into the waist seam. The Eve Trousers are suitable for a wide range of fabrics. For the class you will choose from a range of colours in cotton twill.
This course of 3 classes is suitable for improvers.
